Team Gritty hit the desert trail this week to celebrate a birthday (29 again? Sounds good!). We roved a-horseback, on a guided trek high among the treacherous trails and frightening precipices of the mountains in Cave Creek Regional Park. Our trusty guide, Amanda, from Cave Creek Trail Rides, entertained us throughout the trek with great info about the region … and put up with our frequent requests (“Hey, can we stop for a sec, I gotta get a shot of this!”).
